Nice little collection. Woodpeckers are cool! I wonder why the red colouration on the Redpoll? I wonder if nature has a reason for that? Almost looks like he's injured with that head wound and blood in his feathers.

As for colouration, I know it is somewhat of a courtship thing, as males have the red breast, along with the red cap, which both sexes have.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
