This little guy was at home in a cavity under the verandah guttering on the cabin we stayed in over the weekend. Mum and his sister were in there too.
These shots show him squeezing his way up above the guttering to get at the melon we put there.

Awwww... what a cutie!
That is sooooo cute. Thanks for sharing MA.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
a smooshed cutie!
Isn't he gorgeous??!! I can't believe people treat these animals as pests, although they can be a pain sometimes. We have a few in the shed at work that pee and poop on our work if we don't cover it up at night sometimes. They are quite prolific in New Zealand also where they are definitely considered a pest. 'NZ Mink' is a blend of Possum fur and Marino wool which apparently makes an awesomely warm garment. I'd rather feed them myself
very interesting little beastie

he is cute. but it doesn't mean he's not a pest. It probably depends on what he does. Squirrels in a house are NOT fun.
by the way, neither are skunks looking to winter under a shed.........

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
Cheers Ed and Bambi.
Why is a skunk a hassle under the shed? If you just go about your business does he go about his? Or do skunks just launch the stinky stuff at you for no good reason at all?
And a squirrel in a house would be an absolute blast!!
