I'm up here in Whitehorse and actually had a day off. I decided to take some pictures at a wildlife preserve near town. I was excited to hear they had a few lynx. I've photographed them in the wild but this was a chance to get a little closer. They were in a fairly large pen so getting photos wasn't guaranteed. I know some people frown on taking pictures of captive animals but as I see it, it's a great chance to study the animals. Also it's great practice for the wild ones.

They also had a few Arctic Foxes. I've also photographed these in the wild and again it was great to get so close to these ones.

It was a fun day at the preserve although it was raining the whole time. I don't usually use my flash but I did use it on some of the photos. I had it set to underexpose by 1 stop.
Sorry for the long post!
