I noticed some swallows flitting by very closely at the front of the blind @ Frank Lake. Wondered why, and desperately tried to capture them with my 300mm lens, handheld. What a futile endeavor. Then I found the reason why the swallows came back: a nest under the eaves of the blind. Had to lean out over the guardrail, hold on to my gear, and try and get this with a flash to boot (it was late in the afternoon, early evening, and the light was sparse.So here is the reward....

Too bad I could not get everything sharp, would have liked to have Mommy sharp as well, but such is life when you are in a hurry and want to get the action - you don't always check your settings ...
