    I chased this guy (?) around yesterday, every time I got close he flew away.
    This was the best I could get.
    Anyone know what it is?

    I believe that is a male yellow-shafted Flicker. It should have red on the back of its head. Good capture, they are difficult to get close to.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
