    Default red-tail BIF

such a pleasant day, i had to get outta the house, so i took a trip to Juanita Bay Park in Kirkland. pretty quiet for the most part, but i got this shot of a red-tail hawk just as i was about to leave the park....he was probably about 75 yards away, so this is a pretty significant crop. 40D, 400mm, 1/1000 @ f/8.

Wow! Even though he's the same colour as the background he stands out very clearly thanks to the excellently sharp capture. Very well done, squirl033.

Very well captured, especially under the less than ideal conditions.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
