Got a couple more "out the car window" shots of a Red-tail Hawk doing a little hunting. Finally got to see some blue sky today also.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
Wow VERY cool and sharp images! A touch more contrast i think would make these even stronger.

"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
Thanks Marko. These were pretty much right out of camera with a little cropping is all.
I have added another couple pics here for those who have never seen this before. These are not as good of quality as others, (shot from approx. 100 yards out), but shows the "nictitating membrane" over the eye. This is the third eyelid that slides in from side of eye to protect it when diving into grasses and such after prey. Camels and sharks also have these.

Wow . . to say the least. I'd like to take a drive where you go . . .
Thanks Don. Much appreciated. Those last two were not very good, but just for the eye only.
For the record, we drove over 350km that day, along the coast of Lake Erie, and inland backroads.
