Thanks Iggy, JAS and Ed. It was nice to take some pictures with that rental L lens. I can see the improved sharpness over my kit lens. (I just wish I had bought that monopod that I was thinking of. My arm was killing me after a couple of hours of hand holding that sucker)

HBG ... I rented a 70-200 f2.8 to use at the roller derby, however it got cancelled. So I went out and tried taking some pictures with it anyway. As you can see I ended up taking pictures of the ducks by Lake Ontario. I know 200mm is a little short for bird pictures but that's what I had. My friend was suppose to bring a monopod for me to the roller derby, that's why I didn't end up not buying one. Thus the sore arm.
