Cape Glossy Starling

    Hey all,
    This is one species of starling common in Africa. I don't know if it's found elsewhere.

    Very nice capture. I'm not much of a birder but I've never seen one of these before. I love the shimmering feathers and you've got a wonderful DOF and a great background bokeh. Nice shot!

    I agree with Iggy. May I also add that the sharp eye really adds to the photo's impact?

    Very nicely captured. Love the iridescent colouring in the feathers and that bright red eye. (would look so much better, larger, also)
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
