Cob is the size b/w a horse and a pony right? My Mum's horse is right at the end cusp b/w a Cob and Horse.

thanks C. you are correct, in one sense- a cob refers to a shorter thick set horse. In this case it's actually part of the Breed Name. Welsh Cobs are very sturdy, smart and have good temperaments. But they don't tolerate fools. They are hardy and agile. Because of this they have become quite popular in 'driving'. they can jump quite well too.

terrific portrait. the snow just makes it...all drifty and swirly.
Awesome capture Bambi. Wonderful comp. with the posture of the subject and the attentive look, and I am with WD as the snow just makes the shot.
(Yes I am kinda' partial to the Welsh Cob, as I had one myself when I was a child).
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
