WOW. Looks like a sparrow a graffiti bum got ahold of. The colours are amazing. How close did you manage to get to take this?
Cool capture with a wiggly fish in its beak.
very cool capture and comp here Yisehaq with decent sharpness on the eye.
If I had one comment here, it would be that the reds look oversaturated on my monitor.
again - lovely capture.

Nice background, nice bird! Vibrant colors and I do see what Marko is saying with the red on the birds "feet/beak" but then again, my greens are more blue lately with my monitor..
Nicely done.
great capture. I too see the oversaturation of the reds. but still an awesome shot!

So lucky to get in so close to this type of Kingfisher. These one are so small.
Excellent shot except you've over-satuated the colours way too much. How cool is it you caught him with a fish in his beak!!! Awesome timing. Very well done.
Thank you all for your comments. I have tried to desaturate it a bit and hope its a better now.
Indeed this kind of Kingfisher are very small. I had to sit by the lake side for an hour or so, until this birds took me as part of the environment and they started landing very close to me. Needless to say, my 300mm with 1.6X crop factor also helped.
