Cool. A praying mantis. I didn't know those existed outside of Asia. Nice!

Mantises are found world wide, Iguanasan. I used to catch them when I was a kid living in Phoenix, which at the time was a pretty small city. They're kinda frightening if you think about it - constantly hungry, and I've seen footage of them taking down hummingbirds. The power behind their strike and the spikes on the forelimbs probably do a good job of tearing the bird's chest muscles.
