Very pretty colours. I had the same problem with my butterfly last week. Don't the darn things know we want pretty colours!

Beautiful shot, love the colors. It's a Red Admirable (Vanessa atlanta) and they are even mor beautiful with open wings.
I was talking with the branch manager yesterday about how uncooperative butterflies are. This is still a nice shot, and sort of like looking at the back side of a flower - not as showy, but in a lot of ways more interesting.
