Thanks Iggyfor correcting my goof up- guess entomology is just not one of my strong suits -
Tried to get a macro shot of a larger bee, but when I hit auto-focus it took off.
This wasp didn't seem to be bothered.

Stunning colours! Nicely timed. Are you sure that's a bee though? Looks like a wasp to me though I'm no bug expert.
