Beautiful capture, Michael! Worthy of Audubon Magazine for sure!
Very nice Michael.
Seems these have had a very good breeding spring, as they are everywhere around here.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
a nice looking couple for sure

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
Wonderful shot of these two birds!
Thanks all...They were on the hunt for insects this day and dragonflies were high on their list. They seem to perch, watch, then zoom like homing missiles toward the target. With the dragonflies, the contest seems to favour the insects agility and size. The Waxwing though agile, can't turn as fast as the bug.
I truly will hate the day when our activities block the way of life these entities depend on to flourish! just sayin!
very nice captures Michael

Very nice catch and shot. That's the look a lot of birds have, when they hear the focusing noise of my camera.
Thanks Owl...These guys were 10 meters away, doubt they heard the camera. Even using the D90 and the 70 to 300 I still had to crop heavy to get an image the birds could dominate. I'm scared to print it large due to the noise.
