    Default Propeller Blade!

This is a shot of one blade on a 12 foot propeller off the Laker Reserve! "Laker being a Great Lakes ship" The propeller has been removed and cleaned up with a grinder. Then a heavy coat of sealer is applied to protect from corrosion.

    Pic of the ship.

This is the shot that lead me in the direction of me photography today. A detailed more artist view of things. I feel I'm at a point now where I'm on to something here, at least I'm really enjoying it. Of course I'm still have much to learn so your comments and suggestions a very much appreciated!!!

I really like this. Have stared at it for a few minutes now. As always, the light/shadow play please me, but added to that, this has that polished metal look that has created an abstract, almost fabric feel to it.

Is the colour genuine? That's the sealer's colour? Or have you played with the colour to create the purple?

It's certainly a fun shot to look at, not to mention that I love purple, and the light/shadow play is really great. I don't see "propeller" here but I do see a really nice image.
