    Default neg.art

I bought this Cybershot F717 about a year ago, and find the neg.art function quite fascinating. It's not something that you can't do with regular photos, by post-applying the negative function; but seeing the 'negative' before shooting adds an extra dimension, because things that look uninteresting with regular photography, often appear quite interesting in 'negative' (and vice-versa). Anyway, here's an example of what I mean. You can see what it would look like using regular imaging by applying the negative function, that a number of editors provide (I use Photofiltre, and I believe that Photoshop can do this too.Name: DSC01464small.JPG

The effect is cool - but it's missing a focal point imo.
