I saw these flowers while walking home and liked the contrast of color between the leaves and flowers. Only camera I had was a cell phone and it was a bit windy too, but here we go:
Hey, I'm new to the thread but i have some photos that I have taken with my phone that I didn't find to be horrible. What are your thoughts?
creativity - great! maybe too close for the focus?

I went back to my old mobile phone after loads of trouble with the new Nokia's.
I reckon a phone's a phone and a camera is a camera. I wouldn't use a spoon to dig a hole when I had a spade handy either.
But I like this challenge ... it'll make those contributing think harder about their compositions.
Just joined the forum a couple days ago, saw this thread while I was cruising around here and I love this picture. I took it at a local pub one night. It's a drink called a Black Velvet, it's Champagne on the bottom with Guinnes floating on top.
