Phillip Toledano - Fine Art Photography
I was born in London on December 6th 1968 to an American father and Morrocan mother. After a convincing presentation of the merits of photography to my parents at age 11, I received my first camera. I have been taking slightly odd pictures ever since. My photography career was briefly interrupted by a 10 year stint as an art director working at ad agencies such as TBWA/Chiat/Day, Berlin Cameron, and Fallon. I resumed full time picture taking a few years ago. I believe hat everything should start with an idea, whether it be a single image, or a series. I also believe that a photograph should be like an unfinished sentence. There should be space for questions. I live and work in New York City.
