I am a biologist, bioinformatician, government scientist and professor at McGill University. You woudn’t believe that from my photoblog (Digital Apoptosis) where I post daily images from Montreal, Quebec and many other places where my job, and my vacations, take me.
Most of the images published before 2006 were taken with a Fujifilm FinePix S5000. I then switched to a Canon Rebel XT and its EF-S 17-85mm IS USM lens. Unfortunately, it met its demise in a tripod malfunction in February 2007 and was replaced by a Canon Rebel XTi.
