Clarification - Photo Size

It was my understanding that the photo size should be 250KB or less, in fact Iggy mentioned this in a recent post. However Marko said in one post;

"When uploading to this site, pics need to be 275K or less or else the board software compresses them and sharpness suffers"

Can this clarified. Is it 250KB or 275KB.

Hopefully Marko will chime in with a response today. It's always been 250KB as far as I know but I may have missed a memo. :)

It was 250 at one point, but now it is 275k.

Thanks for the clarification. I will endeavour to specify 275KB from now on and less than 1025 pixels wide as I recall?

Correct, less than 1025 pixels in width and/or height.
