    Default Power at Sunrise

    I went for an early morning drive up the mountain range that I rode up on the bike yesterday. I got lucky, there was lots of low cloud.

    Views are rare up there unfortunately so most views due to clearings for the large electricity towers and lines that march across the landscape.

    So the solution was to make those lines a feature within the photos ...

    Awesome shots MA. Really love how the wires just fade away down into the cloud cover.
    Loving your country more and more with every shot.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    Thanks HBG It was a lovely morning in the mountains. After riding up there yesterday I was totally inspired to drive back this morning and get some shots. I'll get more up over the next few days hopefully.

    There are a couple of roads around here with the same problem - awesome views, if it weren't for the power lines. I'll have to try out your fix.

    I love the fog in these, BTW. We haven't had a good foggy day in a couple of years, and I like those, too.
