Actually that is steam rising from the river and mixing with the much colder air. I guess in a way it's fog. :)

I love this shot! Such a subdued colour palette that perfectly fits the cold winter scene. Great composition as well.

I like this one very much. It doesn't hit me over the head with what it is. Very moody. Has presence.
