The Scribbly Bark
Went for a walk this morning with the camera and remember telling JJ here that we had a tree similar to one he put up once.
This is the Scribby Bark Gum Tree.
The scribbly gum tree is a eucalyptus tree with a very smooth, pale trunk. The distinctive brownish 'scribbles' are made by the larvae of the tiny scribbly moth. These larvae are harmless to the tree.
