Good shot, something different for a moon shot and really captivating.

Much more interesting than the standard shot... I've been meaning to try something like this myself some day but never seem to get around to it. Nicely done, Michael.

Thanks...Another day for night shot at 750mm. The moon was actually pretty vague in the sky at noon so I think I lost a lot of detail. I much prefer the crescent moon as opposed to a full one. It's a project in progress :)

Look at it this way - with your image processing, you've allowed us let us see more lunar detail than would have been visible to the eye. There may not be any air on the moon, but your image has plenty of atmosphere. Nicely done.
