Interesting juxtaposition with the greenery, especially in that first one.

I love Autumn colours. I want to live somewhere where autumn really looks like autumn!

gotta move up to New Hampsha, we got yer colors right here. It's funny how unappreciative we are with them though. Tourists come by the busload and I just want 'em to get off my highway. The road I drive to come home is gorgeous and I barely notice it. I am trying to do better though. The first two weeks of October go so fast.

I like your maple leaves, amazing the variety in that species. So far as I know, none of our around here look anything like that.

nice set and reminder of what's around the corner for us here in North America
" A good photograph is one that communicates a fact, touches the heart and leaves the viewer a changed person for having seen it. " Irving Penn

" There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs." - Ansel Adams

    Thanks both.

We do often get so used to whats around us that we stop appreciating it. I think that's where being a photographer often helps us to really look and see, and therefore appreciate things others around us no longer do.

Nice stuff, like the back lit one as well. Gets me a bit more fired up for Autumn here. Like WD I get tired of the tourists clogging up my roads and play areas but that's all right, most of them won't venture as far into the woods as I will anyway to see the real show.
