Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
This lake was surrounded by the rare, (for us), Grass Pink Orchid. This Orchid differs itself from others as it is right side up. Most orchid blossoms turn as they grow so their lip is on the bottom, while these ones stay upright.
Also, the Northern Pitcher Plant was just covering the ground. Here is the "pitcher" part of plant.
The actual flower of Pitcher Plant.
The best way to end the day was that the wild blueberries are just ripening, (had first feed today). We have approximately two acres of these on our land, but these were also around this lake area.

Beautiful set, HBGirl! The reflections in the lake are beautiful. Love all the wildflowers and those blueberries look pretty appetizing too!
Wow...you have such a magical and awesome place...thanks so much for sharing it with us...those blueberries look absolutely scrumptious!

Wonderful set of pictures - I like especially the Pitcher plant. That's a real strangely plant, have never seen any similar.
Dear Hillbillygirl in her northern paradise,
I hate you.
