I like the subtle tones of the ice cave and that horizontal lines on the ice make the second shot!
Feel free to make comments on any of my shots

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
For me the first one comes across as a bit of an abstract. I say that because I get no sense of scale. I can't tell if it's a macro shot of a crack in the rock or a cave you could drive a truck through. Nice detail in the ice though. That's the best part and helps lead me through the photo from the front to the blue light. In the second the lines are very interesting and in a different setup could really make a shot. In this one the lines are very strong but because of their direction to me they imply more of a texture than just lines. They aren't leading me to the background for that effect. For me the lines would stand alone as the subject of a picture and so would the out of season boat. They just don't seem to go together for me. It does have some strong lines so I'm sure others will really like it as it is.

Andrew - no biggie at all but normally we don't give major critiques unless the shot is posted in the critique forum OR the OP asks for critique or has a signature that says feel free to critique....like I said though no biggie.
Dwayne - I quite like shot 1 here. I have a comment that may improve the shot, let me know if you want me to make it.

Two very nice pictures. Good eye on that second one!
Ok then - If it were mine I might burn in the light part of the left edge by about 5%. aside from that, love it!
