Dahlias

so I invaded Iggy's territory today. I am 'hosting' a continuing education workshop for my staff. Today I snuck over to the Public Gardens early to wonder a bit and get some down time. The dahlias are in full bloom and looking stunning.

Me too. And the variety of petals. Some have so many and others have so few.

Both lovely shots B and Ig. Whenever I go back home, I always bring back several bunches of dahlias from the coast to have in my home. My Mum is a huge fan of them and while I can't cut hers or she'd cut me :laughing:I always stop at a roadside stand and buy some as they are all over the place in Victoria.
