More flowers from raw

My screaming red roses, and purple flowers in partial shade. Here I can tell the difference shooting raw makes. Especially in the case of the roses - wow! Still working on keeping all the texture in the petals, though. The camera's default jpeg on the left, processed from raw on the right.

Such vivid colours. The strong light would have made these very difficult to shoot too. Nice job!

Thank you, and yes, the light was difficult.

I'll probably throw a couple of river pictures in the critique area - the sunlight is even stronger now, and the contrast between the river water, the rafts and the people is proving to be challenging.
