A photo essay over 10 years, the photographers brother is a functioning heroin addict and father (functioning is used loosely in this context) and there is and interview and photos for this compelling and well done story. It is not a story like the photographer mentions he cannot walk away from.

Definitately a sympathetic and poignant portrayal of his brother. Very well done.
An excellent look into a word most don't see or understand, I actually wish there was more information about the way he started his addiction it could be used to show people how easy it is to slip into this world. I have had a few friends slip into this and it's painful to watch as you feel so powerless.
