If you don't mind my asking, where did you get the gulls? They remind me of the ones you see on the ferry ride from Cherry Point to Minnisott Beach in Craven county just north of you.

Those are from the ferry ride from Fort Fisher to Southport, although I have been on the Cherry Point-Minnisott ferry too, just no gulls pics from there.Quote:

I'll toss in one more...these are the exact same photos about 10 seconds apart...notice the clouds above the mountain and the movement.
Would have been cool to see the snow whipping off the top of the Mt too Casil :)

Ok Ok Ok. Now that all of you have seen my wiener............:D.............dog, here are my real submissions for the Wind photo assignment. Looks like I am going to meet the deadline before the cruise sweeps me away....
1 - is a 13 second continuous exposure.
2 - is a short 4 second exposure with a trailing curtain flash(thanks MA for the idea)
Until I saw the 2nd shot I couldn't understand what the hell shot 1 had to with 'Wind'
2nd Sync shutter can produce some cool effects
I couldn't decide between the two so here they both are.
