Very nice. Love the two lighting source result.
Lovely light indeed! Would you mind sharing your setup?
Thanks guys.
Crystal, Pretty simple set up. Main Softbox camera right at a 45% angle, back edge at his shoulders and then feathered. Two strip lights in the background on each side. Reflector on camera left.
My guess was close, just missed the strip lights :)
Thank You!
Love this shot, your lighting is lovely. Thanks for mentioning Alfred Steglitz, just looked him up on Wikipedia.

Great shot Ernst...May I ask what lens you used and subject distance to BG?
The light is very good:thumbup:
Fantastic. Wonderful lighting and interesting looking subject.
Thanks everyone.
Richard, In my opinion Alfred Steglitz is the most important person in American Art History. And not just becuase he himself was a photographer.
Michael, I pretty much use a 28-70 f2.8 in my studio and pretty much keep it at the 70mm postion. The subject is about 4 ft from the backdrop.
Fantastic portrait. If you don't mind me asking..haha..how far away are you from the subject?
