    Default you need leather balls to play rugby

    people shots aren't my forte, and i don't often photograph humans in any setting, but every once in a while, i like to try something a little different, like shots from a local rugby club match last fall... i played myself, in high school and college, so i have a bit of a soft spot for the sport... first shot taken with Canon 5D and 24-135 lens, the last two taken with my 40D and 100-400, various settings...

    Quite the rough and tough sport! I really like the series, but the top one is my fave!!

    I have to agree. The first photo has that sense of speed and aggression known to the game. Nicely done!

    I played Rugby for a year ... on a dare ... because a rugby player mate insisted soccer was for sissy's! We both excelled in our nemesis' sport in the end
