Olympic Torch Relay

Ok, people. I've decide to do a Photography.ca Olympic Torch Relay. I've taken a couple of photos of the torch bearer here in Halifax and expect all the other Canadian thugs on this forum to get out there and add to the thread with photos of torch bearers in their city. It was certainly a challenge - a moving target at night. I ended up with two that, while not great photos, at least are recognizable for what they are.

good work Iggy. I headed out of the city so I wouldn't get stuck in the traffic. My daughter sent me a text that she had seen the lighting of the torch.

I think it's a great idea to get pictures of it. I know they are coming to Lunenburg on friday. i will see what I can do

. hopefully it won't conflict with my curling game.

Very cool! It must be quite a feeling to be able to run with the torch!

I might have been more impressed if I hadn't found out there were many, many torches. They're selling the things off apparently. Plus the torch gets driven around and such. Not like a straight trek across country. It was the biggest joint I have ever seen though. Not surprising since the Olympics are in BC.
