Third Thursday

Thursday evening was the first Third Thursday Art Walk in Joplin for 2014. The temp was in the upper 60′s early but as the sun lowered a brisk steady wind kept it slightly cool but not uncomfortable at all. A lot of artist’s of all types turned out as did a good number of people. Third Thursday’s are one of the few events that occur in my immediate area that attracts enough people that will give me some opportunity to try and catch a few candids.

Here’s a couple of candids that I got out of the event. Two young ladies in casual conversation and a 2 man band.

Thank you asnow. It was 28 F Tuesday night, 66 today and getting to 36 tonight. But 72 this coming Sunday. It's that weather roller coster time of year here. In a tornado watch right now till midnight. Still jealous? :)

Nice couple of shots Lorey. I like the 1st shot in particular. The tones are super. Very creative with the hint of blue in the denim - I dig it. Twins? or double exposure?

Thank you RM. It was suggested in another forum where I posted these shots that the girls appear to be twins. I would agree with that.

If they're not twins they have to at least be sisters. I do really like the editing in number one. I feel like I'm sitting across from them. Very nice.
