I like the 1st one for it's pose and scene in general but it looks too overly sharp for me. I do like that 2nd one better. Love that you've used the hair in a way rarely seen. Most of us look to to remove it from the face, but you've made it a central element of the photo. Nice lighting also.

Flickr is the one to blame because they always sharpens the photographs in small size :P
