Funny, that tree has people either hating it or loving it and I myself am not 100% sure. I kinda like the little bit of nature but it does steal from the main subject a bit.
#3 is definitely my fav as well. The angles worked out well and I think it will likely make a great poster. :fingerscr

I actually like #2. Only two changes I would try, would be to have his leg more towards the top 3rd line, and remove the bush/tree to the right. I think the silhouette adds a bit mystery to the shot, and fits in well with the martial arts theme.

Sorry, missed this. All three do work, but #3 really stands out for me with the feet firmly planted in this stance on the strong solid rock, along with the intense facial expression.
