Took this of my two boys hiking along a local trail over the weekend. They claim they can't stand each other though.

Nice! The mood and the composition is excellent. Since you always ask for feedback I just want to suggest that another "foot" lower would have been a good idea I think. Excellent shot otherwise.
You are right about the foot lower, was not even thinking about where their feet were, was just glad they were acting civil!
Exactly what iggy said on wanting to see the feet!
Dig the pinkish/sepia hue here, lovely mood.
Exactly what Iggy said.Quote:

Yup I concur with Iggy as well ... and congratulate you that you could actually bring your kids into the "wild". Most kids are into the "virtual", but I bet the air is much better in the wild.
There is truth in the compositional argument but having said that, if I put that away, it's really nice image. I like the colour tone choice and the softness in the distant trees and the light works well for me.
Thanks. The fog in the trees is what caught my attention.
There is no problem getting my boys out in the wild. All I have to do is ask them how far they want to hike and they are waiting with the pack. We camp at least once a month too, every month of the year. Packing up to head out tommorow now.
