wanted to show you some of the shots i took on saturday for a photoshoot of one of my first paying clients. i'm very excited with how they turned out. these were some of the more creative shots we took. she's really into yoga, so i had her and her friend do some poses while i shot them towards the end of the shoot. let me know what you think

Very neat idea! I think there might be some minor exposure and WB issues in the images, but the poses and the ideas are really unique - well done! I would caution you against having all of your subjects quite so centred though.

The most important is if the client liked it
I like them but I find the bkgd a bit busy .

I would go for a different background as well, one that is urban but could also be blurred out with depth of field. I would also place them in a higher position such as on a parapit, steps, etc. so that body parts such as feet and hands are NOT cut off by other elements in the shot. Old Montréal comes to mind or on Mount Royal.

That's true BUT the OP asked us what we thought.

FYI, True critique involves a full technical and compositional evaluation of the shot, that can take several paragraphs.

General comments should be expected in "Show your photo".
