Orton effect

So...after listening to the 'Orton Effect' podcast I decided to give it a go on a wedding group portrait...what do you think? I am still not sold on it but it does give a rather surreal effect.
ps, Bride is confined to a wheelchair so we sat her in the middle of this rock garden and moved all the others in and out as required, worked pretty slick.

I kinda like the orton here. Even more importantly- did the bride like it? Because that's all that matters. I like the posing here too.

i think the bride will like this, it does have a dreamy quality!

She hasn't seen it yet. I was thinking I would create a mask and bring the sharpness of the faces in a little bit more. I like the effect but not so much on faces.
