    Default Camera Help

Im kind of an amature photographer, and i have a question about lenses.

So i have to take pictures of a End-of-the-year dance show a dance studio is putting on in a few weeks. I have to stand at the back of the theatre which is about 100 fee from the stage. I own a Canon Rebel xsi, and i need to get a longer lens. So my questions is...."What lens should i get that will take up close pictures from 100 feet away?

    Thanks

I would suggest a 70-200 mm lens should be good enough anything larger than that your going to probably need a tripod to steady it. I think the 70-200 would perfect and if your renting one get a fast lens f/2.8 if possible. If the lighting is not great you may need the fast glass.

I agree with AcadieLibre. 70-200 and a fast 2.8 aperture. Wish I still owned one - jimmy
