Today was a GOOD day!

Somebody went shopping today... Lowepro Magnum bag, 35mm f2.8D, 24-70mm f2.8 zoom, and Manfrotto 190 carbon-fibre tripod (B'day gift)! :D

oh wow... you will be impressed with the 24-70 (as with all other stuff i'm sure)....

I recently bought that lens and it's a slam dunk...not sure I'll ever buy third party again...

Yeah, I'm home for a while and I'm really looking forward to taking that new glass for a test-drive. The 24-70 is a sweet piece of glass, but the 35 is nice as well; I like having a "normal" prime. Not quite as fast as I'd like, but the 1.8 didn't get very good reviews. I just wish I'd had that CF 'pod with me in the Middle East.
