It's a pleasing shot imo and I'm sure the bride will like it.
Not crazy about the 'hyper' warmth here tho, serious orangey cast and parts of the dress look overexposed to me.
Hope that helps - Marko
The fuzzyness it bother me. I would prefer a sharp image on this subject or a soft focus
Hmmmm... Not crazy about this image. The orange cast is too similar to her skin tone, and the lamp and table to her left are a contrasting veritical element which doesn't work for me.
Thanks for the replies. I do tend to go overboard in post sooo I wanted to see if I went to far..I guess I did *LOL* Thanks for the honest feedback:)
The added contrast blew out the highlight detail and the glow in the processing.
I really liked the level of softness actually. Is it Orton? It looks like it and it blew out the dress a bit.
I do agree the orange cast is too much and the table/lamp shouldn't be 'touching' her.
I love the composition except for that table position.
However, I can see several easy fixes for this in PP using masks and layers.
Isolate her from that table with some extra background blur perhaps. You could even remove the outer table legs.
Blend in the original dress a little to get that detail back.
Stick with the original colour but when finished maybe duplicate and then subdue all but the bride.
It's a pleasing pose and I don't mind the softness. I think it would appeal to the customer. However, I do have trouble with the way her skin tones are so similar to the background. it makes it hard to see her-just the dress.
Love the soft/warmth of the image, the bride's skin tone, and the high contrast of the dress!
I like this shot, but I agree with the warmness, doesn't particularly appeal to me being so warmly coloured. But nice capture over all.
