The Yamatogoto
This street performer was playing the Yamatogoto. It has beautiful harp like tones and is an ancient instrument.
One of my favorite photos ever:

I think it depicts the pleasant, quiet demeanor of the this beautiful girl. The setting of Prince's Island Park on a lovely summer afternoon complemented her lovely music. I also like that the city vista is reflected in the large vase to her left.

She is a very talented player we've actually had her join in at the jazz jam once it was fun. You captured her well.
-
Nice catch! Her skin tone might be slightly 'off' but aside from that I dig it!

Raiven and I ran into each other at this expo and we both took pictures of this talented musician at different times. There was some strange light around her. My angle may have captured a more pleasing skin tone but Raivens composition is way better. Nice shot Raiven!

Thanks EJC! Yes, we ran into each other prowling around the main stage area photographing the vibrant audience. It is not nearly so crowded as at folk fest. Nice meeting you by the way, EJ.
I put my photo into Topaz adjust to pop the colors which may account for the skin tones.
When I as was there, several young kids were hanging about amazed by her instrument and music. I took a few pics of them with her but overall I think the one I chose depicts her demeanor and the lovely setting well.
