Nice shot! I prefer the first as well. Yah..the second leaves the hands a bit..different for a lack of a better word.

She's using a Glamour Blur filter and a few PS processes I taught her that I've been using for some time to keep parts of the image more sharp where needed. The end result is actually quite similar to the Orton effect when used on landscapes etc.
