The Changing Face of Canadian Retail

Hi everyone,

This is my first photo for critique. I hope it captures the zeitgeist we're all feeling right now- "The Changing Face of Canadian Retail."

Shooting: I used a polarizer and my kit zoom lens. I had to sit on a barricade pole to get the angle.
Post: A bit of contrast and playing with the curves to get it punchy. Burnt in the edges, and some sharpening a la Scott Kelby method.

LOL against Marko's advice in one of the podcasts, I emailed it to all the major newspapers hoping to get published. Hey, it was worth a shot!

I hope you like it and I'd be happy to take any critiques.
