This is a discussion on The Bicycle Guy within the Critiques forums, part of the Photography & Fine art photography category; My first try with my newly downloaded photoshop elements....
Nicely captured. Good panning and nice work on the selective colouration. My only nit is that the image would be stronger if the subject was approaching rather than departing.
What does the unedited full color one look like. I am not really a fan of the black/white background. But... good panning. The background looks almost like it wasn't panned and maybe motion blurred, can't tell. Good pic though, I do agree - an approach would have been better.
I like the color one much more.
I agree with MF - coloured one works better for me.
In the B/w one the top right corner is too bright, but even aside from that the feeling is totally different.
