It's interesting in that today I didn't think I had any images of any note, but I do like these once I've worked them up a little and "presented" them...
This is one of those things where in the past, I've waited to get people *out* of my shot, and now, something that other photogs do is wait for someone to come *into* the shot to make it less empty - this was one of those...
*Slightly* unfortunate that I missed the edge of the gate in the shot, but otherwise I like it...
Overall, I like the image, but, there's something, upon which I can't quite put a finger which doesn't work for me. I think it's the fact that the visible edge of the gate doesn't appear vertical. Understand this is a perspective issue, but it still bothers my eye a little.
Yep, agreed. I might be able to fix it with a slight rotation and nicking the far edge of the gate from another similar image.
Bottom line is I missed the shot by not noticing those details - will try to do better next time... :)
I like it..but with you guys on the door.
