Oakville
Hi,
I noticed this interesting intersection of lines and forms while taking a walk in Oakville, near to the harbour marina. Later I had a chance to catch the seagull on the top of a light post watching me and probably wondering who is this guy whit that black object in his hand...
Any thoughts about the pictures?

I couldn't stop staring at the first one; it kinda looks like the building was copy/pasted beside itself several times, heh. Awesome find
I have an abhorrence for seagulls, but you almost make this one look cute ;) He does seem to be looking at you inquisitively, haha. One thing though (very minor), maybe next time try to make the metal ring more centered?
Good work! :)

THe first has great symmetry! The second I might crop a chunk off the bottom so it was not centered/centered. Nice start though, keep posting. :)

the one of the buildings has potential. see what a bit more contrast does for you and whether you can clone the shrubbery out. It's not a big deal, but distracts/detracts to my eye.

shot 1 is way cool - love the pattern! looks like it's sloping a touch to the right though.
Shot 2 is nice in colour but could be sharper. Hope that helps -- Marko

Thank you all for taking time and expressing your opinions and suggestions. I found all the comments very useful. Based on those I did some changes....aligned the horizontal lines, removed some distracting objects and increased saturation, contrast.....I hope the new version is better than the old one.

I find the first image more appealing, and I know the exact location, so I'll comment on it.
I love the look of repeating patterns in photography.
This would make a fine candidate for a B&W conversion. I think that you'd be very satisfied with the results. Give it some thought.
Thanks for posting this image.
Peace
Peter
